Safety & Conduct
7. Guests must comply with all safety instructions, rules, and directions provided by Forest Island staff, crew members, captains, or authorized personnel.
8. Forest Island reserves the right to deny participation or remove any guest whose behavior is unsafe, disruptive, intoxicated, unlawful, or inappropriate.
9. Participation in marine, boating, water sports, and outdoor activities is at guests’ own risk.
Weather & Operational Conditions
10. Forest Island reserves the right to delay, reschedule, modify, or cancel any trip, activity, or service due to:

* technical or operational matters;
* force majeure events; or
* instructions from authorities or enforcement agencies.
Personal Belongings

Rescheduling & Changes
13. Any trip rescheduling request must be submitted at least 72 hours before the scheduled trip date and departure time.
14. Any changes to the number of guests (pax) must also be submitted at least 72 hours before the scheduled trip date and departure time.
15. All requests are subject to availability and approval by Forest Island.
Liability
16. Forest Island shall not be held liable for:
* personal injuries;
* accidents;
* seasickness;
* delays;
* cancellations;
* weather disruptions;
* transportation issues; or
* any indirect or consequential losses arising from participation in our activities.

Return & Refund Policy
All ticket purchases, bookings, and payments made with Forest Island are subject to the following Return & Refund Policy.
Refund Policy
1. All payments made are strictly non-refundable after successful payment confirmation, except under conditions specifically stated in this policy.
2. Refunds are only permitted if there is an official announcement, notice, or directive issued by the Penang Marine Department (Jabatan Laut Malaysia Negeri Pulau Pinang) stating that weather conditions, sea conditions, or maritime conditions are unsafe for cruising, boating, or marine activities on the scheduled trip date.
3. In the event of such official announcement or restriction by the Penang Marine Department, guests may choose either:
* a full refund; or
* a rescheduled trip date, subject to availability.
Rescheduling & Pax Changes
4. Trip rescheduling requests by customers must be submitted at least 72 hours before the scheduled trip date and departure time.
5. Any request to change, reduce, or increase the number of guests (pax) must also be submitted at least 72 hours before the scheduled trip date and departure time.
6. All rescheduling requests and pax changes are subject to availability, operational scheduling, weather conditions, and approval by Forest Island management.
7. No rescheduling, modification, or changes will be permitted within 72 hours prior to the scheduled trip departure time.
Non-Refundable Situations
8. No refund, cancellation, replacement trip, or compensation shall be provided for:
* no-shows;
* late arrivals;
* missed departures;
* personal scheduling conflicts;
* seasickness;
* personal emergencies;
* transportation delays;
* unused tickets; or
* any other reasons not directly caused by an official restriction issued by the Penang Marine Department.
Operational Rights
9. Forest Island reserves the right to delay, reschedule, modify, or cancel any trip, activity, or service due to:
* weather conditions;
* sea conditions;
* safety concerns;
* technical or operational issues;
* force majeure events; or
* instructions, restrictions, or directives issued by government authorities or enforcement agencies.

In situations where Forest Island initiates a cancellation for safety or operational reasons without an official restriction from the Penang Marine Department, Forest Island reserves the right to offer alternative arrangements, rescheduling, trip credits, or other reasonable solutions at its discretion.
Refund Processing
11. All approved refunds, where applicable under this policy, will be processed through the original payment method unless otherwise determined by Forest Island. Processing duration may vary depending on the payment gateway provider, financial institution, or banking process.
Customer Agreement
12. By proceeding with any booking or payment, customers are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to all terms stated in this Return & Refund Policy.
